It's Spring !

It's Spring ! It's time to refurbish the garden after Winter. Prune the fruits trees, remove the dead branches, remove the weeds from the vegetable garden... There are a lot of things to do to provide the best garden to our guest and it's really pleasant to work outside with this beautiful weather, in the middle of the cherry blossom. This year, we asked an exterial company to prune our linden tree. This tree was really huge, but it was so high that it was drowning our neighbours under dead leaves each Autumn. The children were shocked the first time they saw its new shape. But it will make new branches and it will probably be even more beautiful. In the same time, we progressed in the cleaning of the back of the garden. Until now it was an unusable surface with a lot of bushes. It starts to be clear out, but we have still some work . The rental season has started ! It's still a great pleasure to answer to our future guests from all around the ...

That's it : the house is finally ready to welcome guests !

After 10 months of hard work, the house is finally ready. Each room had been renovated from floor to the roof, with our little hands. It has been a slave labor, but we are really proud of the result. The rooms are nice and welcoming and the house is equipped with all a family can need during holidays. The garden is nice, now that we cleaned it and installed the tables, the chairs and the benches. We have even planted strawbeeries, rasperry bushes and aromatic herbs. We decided to call it "The Family House" because imy grand-parents built it, we renovated it in familly and because it's a perfect house to welcome families looking for a nice stay in the Loire Valley. We have even created a logo : it's the picture at the head of this blog article. A happy family in the front of a nice house : it's exactly what we wish to our guests ! The next step is obviously to welcome guests and to give them a complete enjoyement ! We choose to use Airbnb and Abritel ...

Continuous improvement in the Family House

As we want to fully satisfy our guests, we take their suggestions in account. The last time, our guests explained us that a footstool could be helpful for the children, to have a comfortable access to the sinks of the bathroom. It's done, the footstool is in place : To improve the barbecue service, we added a brush, a cleaning product, an apron and potholders : A doormat is now welcoming our guests in the entrance : And some outdoor games are ready to be used by the children in the garden ;-)
